Key Takeaways from the CBT

The overall player feedback was highly positive, with an average rating of 4.0. Players spent an impressive amount of time in-game, with most sessions lasting 1–3 hours. A notable number also played for over 3 hours, highlighting the engaging nature and playability of LOK Chronicle.

The game maintained a strong retention rate of 76.4% over two weeks, demonstrating high player satisfaction and strong interest in the game.

During the CBT, players had the chance to explore three playable classes: Warrior, Rogue, and Mage. The Warrior class emerged as the most popular, although players experimented with different class combinations, particularly in guild-based gameplay, which encouraged strategic synergy between Warrior, Rogue, and Mage abilities. Difficulty levels were well-received and were considered moderate across all stages of progression.

We saw an incredible global reach, with players from over 118 countries joining the experience. The top 5 countries with the highest participation were:

1⃣ Philippines
2⃣ Indonesia
3⃣ Brazil
4⃣ Iran
5⃣ United States

We are thrilled by the diverse community that came together to test the game and provide valuable feedback globally!

Feedback and Areas for Improvement:

Many players expressed a desire for a more dynamic audio experience, including enhanced sound effects and difficulty-based music tracks to match the gameplay.

There were calls for faster combat and a manual play option to give players more control. Additionally, some requested improvements in movement mechanics and the integration of more strategic elements for map navigation.

Looking Ahead to Open Beta:

We are grateful for the feedback and insights gathered from the CBT, and we’re already working on exciting updates for the Open Beta, which will be launching next year. Here’s a sneak peek of what players can expect:

  • First job advancement
  • Increased level cap to 300
  • New stages: C and D
  • Drago NFTs as Pets (Who doesn’t want a Dook on their team?)
  • Dungeon and gimmick systems
  • PvP Modes (1v1, 2v2, 3v3)
  • Rune system expansion
  • Infinite dungeon challenge

We’re committed to refining LOK Chronicle based on player feedback and delivering a truly immersive gaming experience. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to enhance and develop the game.
