A new era is coming to League of Kingdoms.

On August 4, the Conquest War begins — a one-time, large-scale event to reshape the battlefield through focused, competitive consolidation. Continents will face off in direct 1v1 battles, and only eight will remain standing.

This isn’t just a war. It’s the foundation for the next phase of League of Kingdoms.

*The event title changed from Continent Invasion War to Conquest War.

The Format: Continent vs Continent

The Conquest War introduces a new 1v1 format that blends the Shrine Wars with the large-scale strategy of CVC. It’s a single-elimination tournament designed to determine the future of the world map.

  • Each round pits one continent against another in a head-to-head war
  • The losing continent is fully merged into the victor’s
  • The tournament continues until only 8 continents remain

A total of 4 rounds will be played, and matchups are determined based on LOKA pledge rankings, with a snapshot taken on July 22.

War Mechanics

Each match takes place on the continental maps. There are no neutral zones. Each side invade and conquer the other’s continent directly.

Alliances must defend their own Shrine and Congress, while simultaneously sending forces to capture the opponent’s. Coordination at the continent level is crucial, and each alliance must function as a unified, tactical unit.

Conquest War Rules:

  • When the Conquest War begins, the kingdoms of each continent can teleport to the opposing continent.
  • Move to the opposing continent, occupy the Shrines, capture the final Congress, and hold both Congresses for 1 hour to win.
  • Shrine C, Shrine B, Shrine A, and the Congress will open in order. Please refer to the schedule for detailed timing.
  • An Alliance can control up to 5 Shrines on each continent, for a total of 10 Shrines. Shrine War’s rule applies the same.
  • Even if one side wins by occupying the Congress, you can still move between continents and plunder opponents while time remains.
  • If neither side occupies both Congresses when the war ends, the winner will be determined based on the number of Shrines occupied and the total pledging value.
  • After the Conquest War ends, the kingdoms and Alliances from the losing continent will be merged into the winning continent.
  • The merge will be automatically carried out when you reconnect shortly after the war ends.

Battle Flow & Timeline (All times in UTC) 📅

  • 00:00–02:00 | Shrine War
A pre-battle phase to distribute shrine ownership before the main battle begins.
  • 02:00–04:00 | Short Break
A short break before the Conquest starts.
  • 04:00–08:00 | Conquest enabled
Both sides can teleport between maps, but Shrines remain closed.
Teleportation rule will follow that of CVC.
  • 08:00 | Shrine C opens
  • 10:00 | Shrine B opens
  • 12:00 | Shrine A opens
  • 14:00–22:00 | Congress opens!
Both Congresses open for 8 hours. Victory goes to the side that holds both Congresses for 1 continuous hour.
  • 22:00–24:00 | Wrap-up Phase
All Shrines and Congresses close. Conquest War remains active for troop return and coordination.
  • D+1, 24:00 | Automatic migration
24 hours after the round ends, kingdoms and alliances from the losing continent will be automatically transferred.

If neither side holds both Congresses until the time runs out, victory is determined in this order:

  1. Number of A Shrines held
  2. If draw again, number of B Shrines held
  3. If draw again, Number of C Shrines held
  4. If draw again, Pledging rank

You can view which alliance has occupied each Shrine directly in the UI.

Full Schedule 📅

  • July 22: Pledging Snapshot taken
  • July 23: Tournament bracket revealed on Discord & X
  • July 28 - August 3: One-time free migration window before Conquest War starts
  • August 4: Conquest War begins!

Each match lasts for 1 full day, followed by 2 days of rest between rounds.

The Conquest War icon will appear 24 hours before the event begins. You’ll also be able to check your opponent from the UI.

Tournament Structure

  • Round 1 (Qualifiers): Bottom 12 continents → 6 advance
  • Round 2: 64 continents → 32 survive
  • Round 3: 32 → 16 remain
  • Final Round: 16 → 8 continents

At the end of the war, the final 8 continents will be renumbered from 1 to 8 for clarity on the new world map. The winning continents will retain control of the King’s title and Shrines in the newly formed continents.

Migration & Merging

Two key migration windows will guide players through the transition:

1. Free Migration Week (July 28 — August 3)

Before the war begins, all players will be granted one free migration to relocate their castles to a different continent of their choice.

  • Migration Fee will be free
  • Power restriction will be ignored.
All can migrate regardless of their power.
  • Migration cooldown will be ignored.
All users will be able to migrate, even if they are on cooldwon.
  • Migration cooldown will reset to 6 weeks after this free migration.

2. Post-War Final Migration

Once the final 8 continents are decided:

  • Players will choose which of the 8 they want to settle in
  • A migration UI will guide the selection process
  • Migration Fee will be free, and migration cooldown will be ignored.
  • (IMPORTANT) Alliance leaders can choose to migrate their alliances to the new continents, preserving their progress and history.
  • This migration window will stay open for about 1 month
  • After the post-war migration period ends, the regular migration rules will apply.

Automatic Merging Between the Rounds

During the Conquest War, migration between rounds will not be available.

Instead, when a continent loses a match, all players and alliances from that continent will be automatically transferred to the winning continent. This automatic transfer will happen after 24 hours from the end of Conquest War.

  • Castles will move automatically
  • Alliances and medals are preserved. Alliance Center and building will be refunded as resources.
  • All troops sent out for gathering will return 1 hour before the merge. Gathering will be disabled during that final hour to prevent any potential issues during the merge.
  • Shrines captured by the losing continent will become unoccupied after the round is over. Please redistribute them during the 2-hour Shrine War phase.

Please keep in mind that the losing continent will join your side in the next round.

🏅 Post-War Updates

While the Conquest War is centered on consolidation, additional content is in the works.

  • A follow-up CVC event among the 8 final continents is under discussion
  • New alliance Research will be introduced, including techs to increase alliance member caps
  • General spawn rates for resources and monsters will be adjusted to reflect the denser world population
  • A redesigned CVC format for future wars
  • A redesigned Pledging system to match the new continents.
  • and more contents updates!

Prepare your continent.
Rally your allies.
Conquest begins August 4.

Note: About Pledge and Swap

Pledge Snapshot will be taken on July 22.

While LOKA -> A2Z rebranding is planned on 28th, all pledged LOKA will be automatically swapped to A2Z soon after the swap is complete. You won’t need to unpledge or manually swap your tokens.
