Tal Yarden, a video designer, is helping to create a high-tech version of Hamlet shown in Almeida Theatre. The stage is enhanced with surveillance technology — there are 12 screens incorporated into the set with news footage, live broadcast of actors in close-up and Hamlet’s late father’s ghost.
London’s Design Museum celebrates the centenary of the Russian Revolution with an exhibition of Soviet plans and visions for Moscow called ‘Imagine Moscow: Architecture, Propaganda, Revolution’.

- Pulmocide, a biotech firm run by former GlaxoSmithKline scientists, has closed a $30.4m Series B from SV Life Sciences, a Johnson & Johnson’s venture capital.
- Nested, a startup that helps in selling properties for a guaranteed price, has raised a further £8m in funding in a round led by Passion Capital.
- Goodlord, a residential lettings marketplace platform, has raised £7.2m in Series A funding from Ribbit Capital, LocalGlobe and Global Founders Capital.
