The East End — so called because it lies east of the Roman and medieval walls of the City of London — has long been famous for different waves of immigrants to England. Today, Londoners and tourists flock here for the Bengali restaurants and other Asian specialities, and to enjoy some of the most unusual graffiti on earth.
