Ignore the Naysayers
No matter what we do in our lives, there are several who will always say that it ain’t possible.
There’s a saying by Nelson Mandela:
“Everything is impossible until someone does it”.
Be the one who does the work. Don’t just keep saying that I’ll do it, just give it a go. Say to yourself I’ll be the one who does it.
Whatever happens in your life, don’t get saddened by the things when they didn’t go in your favor, think of it as your destiny and accept it.
The topic of this article, I have borrowed from Arnold’s speech where he said in his 6 rules of success, that doesn’t listen to the naysayers. Whatever he did he always heard a no about those things. Be it acting, bodybuilding, or politics, all he heard was a big no.
And when he did all those things and achieved success in them, he saw a no being turned into a yes, and he to date says that if he had listened to them, he would have stayed there and never come to America.
Then there would have been no Austrian Oak.
In the same way, we all have some dreams in our life, and some goals that need to be accomplished, but the naysayers won’t let us do it. They can be anyone, maybe our close ones, friends, and sometimes, relatives.
Though they are speaking from their experience, life doesn’t have the same store for you and them also.
Learn from the mistakes they did, but don’t blindly follow them. Maybe at their time, facilities weren’t that good, but today we have the best facilities ever. We have the technology.
With the help of technology, you can sell your product to any part of the world.
Our previous generations weren’t that much facilitated when it comes to technology. If they had the technology, maybe they also would’ve said that what we’re doing ain’t wrong.
Naysayers are the ones who failed a few times and gave up, because of whatever reasons they may give.
But, we all know that the world will still call them a loser, no matter what. Winners are those, who despite all the tough conditions, never gave up and kept fighting, and finally reached the pinnacle of success.
Final Words
With this, I would like to end this article and would like to suggest to all my readers that whatever happens in our lives, don’t listen to the ones who couldn’t make it, learn from their mistakes, but do what your intuition and your heart say.
