In high school, we’re taught that we need to go to school, get a degree, and get good-paying jobs.

But we are hardly ever taught and pushed to be entrepreneurs who have control of our time. Rightfully so, it’s risky, not the norm, and makes it tough to have a fallback plan.

Betting on yourself is empowering though. It has benefits. You are true to yourself and may even be more proud of your identity.

1. Influencer

Being an influencer means creating a following so large that brands want to partner with you to endorse their products, shout them out, and supplement your lifestyle.
