In today’s world, where water is becoming an increasingly scarce resource, wastewater recycling systems are gaining popularity as a way to conserve water. These systems are becoming more and more common in public washrooms, where water usage is high, and the potential for water savings is significant. Wastewater recycling systems in public washrooms can help conserve water by capturing and treating wastewater from sinks, and toilets for reuse.

Some common wastewater recycling systems that can be used in public washrooms:

  1. Greywater Recycling: Greywater recycling systems capture and treat wastewater from washbasins for reuse in flushing toilets or watering plants.

2. Urinal Flushing Systems: Urinal flushing systems can recycle greywater or rainwater for flushing, reducing the amount of freshwater used.

3. Rainwater Harvesting: Rainwater harvesting systems collect rainwater from roofs and store it in a tank for use in flushing toilets or urinals.

4. Waterless Urinals: Waterless urinals use no water at all, reducing water usage and eliminating the need for wastewater recycling systems.

5. Dual-Flush Toilets: Dual-flush toilets have two buttons, one for a small flush and one for a larger flush, reducing water usage.

This WorldWaterDay 💦, we are celebrating by highlighting the importance of water recycling systems. By using these systems, we can help conserve water, reduce the demand for fresh water, and help protect our environment. Loocafé is proud to be part of this effort. Loocafé 3.0 will have Greywater Recycling and that water will be used for plants around. A Rainwater Harvesting Structure to collect rainwater which will be used in flushing.
