Introduction of The Loonbirds NFT Project

Loonbirds are more than just an avatar

They’re a collection of 10,000 utility-enabled PFPs that feature a richly diverse and unique pool of rarity-powered traits. What’s more, each Loonbird unlocks private club membership and additional benefits the longer you hold them. We call it nesting — because, obviously.

A collection built with utility & community at the foundation

The project is led by Spax* — A Virtuos Studio, endorsed and supported by an engaged community with millions of social media followers and customers worldwide. Spax* has expanded by opening its Game and Film departments, which produce content for AAA video games as well as for Hollywood blockbusters. The studio has been engaged in providing services across the full pipeline for the biggest video game companies globally, earning credits on legendary titles such as Call of Duty, Fallout, Medal of Honor or Battlefront, to name a few. The studio has also contributed to some of Hollywood’s biggest cinematic franchises including the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, and Transformers. In the NFT space, Spax* previously introduced three NFT drops on MakersPlace and held an event on Decentraland.

Nesting your Loonbird

Loonbirds come with a unique PFP design that allows them to be locked up and nested without leaving your wallet.

As soon as your Loonbird is nested, they’ll begin to accrue additional benefits. As total nested time accumulates, you’ll see your Loonbird achieve new tier levels, upgrading their nest. Upgraded nests enable enhanced drops and rewards.

Project Highrise

Loonbirds is brought to you by Spax*; the team behind the Spax* Collective and Grails. Our next project, codenamed Project Highrise is a focused and novel take on the metaverse. The metaverse is an increasingly crowded space, but built correctly, has great promise for connection and community.
