Loopring is Growing
And so is our team! We’re thrilled to announce six new hires. Loopring has been hiring for positions in community, growth, market making, and backend development. This should signal the intention for a heavy focus on marketing, providing deeper liquidity to the rollup, and relayer enhancements moving forward.
Adam Browman, Head of Growth
Before joining Loopring, Adam founded a social gaming company, managed risk for an online sportsbook, and worked in sales and digital marketing for an international travel organization.
Along the way, Adam fell down the crypto rabbit hole and saw the inevitable future of DEXs. Not so long after, he discovered Loopring and quickly became a strong believer.
“It’s been amazing to see Loopring’s evolution. It’s known that Loopring has some of the best builders in the space but they are so much more than that. This team continues to solve Ethereum’s biggest challenges and have never been afraid to reinvent. I couldn’t be more thrilled to help grow this ecosystem and move the community forward. Byron Wiebe, Head of Community
Byron also comes to Loopring with a strong financial and business background. After completing a Finance degree, he spent 5 years founding and growing a large retail consumer product company of his own.
After selling this company, he returned to his financial roots and became a prop trader for 2 years in the traditional markets, focusing mainly on forex/macro trading and arbitrage until discovering cryptocurrency in early 2017 and never looking back from there.
He immediately saw the vast potential in all things Ethereum and decentralized finance and became a deep believer and community member of Loopring before joining the Loopring team.

Ping Ren, Liquidity Engineer
Last year when it came to cryptocurrency trading, traders always thought about taking advantage of the liquidity of centralized exchanges and making profits from taking the “right” prices to buy/sell cryptocurrencies. Ping was among quant traders that were interested both in taking and making the “right” prices. This Summer, he joined Loopring and contributed his quantitative techniques to the decentralized order-book exchange for Loopring.
“Loopring is the first blockchain project team into which I’m integrated. Before, I’ve been a quantum physics graduate and then a quant trader on the market of stocks, commodities as well as cryptocurrencies. I believe the blockchain universe will make this world better and better. And it is the ingenious Zero-knowledge Protocol and the well-constructed ZK-Rollups that attracts me and convinces me that the Loopring is full of hope.”
Tao Ge, Relayer Engineer
Tao graduated from Cornell University last December and majored in Systems Engineering, with a BEng. degree from the University of Liverpool. Since his undergraduate time, he showed great passion and expertise towards software engineering, while his experience varies from web app development to Unity 3D game development. After returning to China, he selected Loopring as his career start.
“When I was at middle school I first learned about bitcoin and started to become interested in blockchain, while after one decade of evolution this industry had become more and more fascinating. I believe it is a great fit to grow and thrive in Loopring’s internationalized team. I am greatly honored to join this leading blockchain team with unparalleled core techniques in China.”
Chuhan Jin, Relayer Engineer
Chuhan received his master degree of Computer Science from New York University. While he was a undergraduate student at Southern Methodist University, he worked as software engineer intern in Cadence Beijing H&D. Chuhan worked with engineers around the world to develop the company’s main product, EDA software, he took responsibility of maintaining and developing the new version of the software.
After graduating from NYU, Chuhan joined Huawei as software engineer in 5G department. He implemented many critical features of Huawei’s gnodeB software. He was also the member of Huawer Software Special Force Team. Because of his passion of blockchain technology, he decided to join the Loopring team in July, 2021.
“ At my first year in SMU, I was majored in finance. Because of that, I have strong interest in how to apply new technology into traditional finance business, and blockchain provides the possibility. Join Loopring, a team with ambition, and work with the best blockchain engineers in China, I believe this is the best chance to chasing my dream.”
Yuguo, Wallet Backend Engineer
After graduating from Shanghai University, Yuguo started his career in Gridsum. His professional knowledge of computer science and technology helped him integrate well into the career of J2EE. He contacted Loopring’s recruitment information by chance and decided to do something different — invest his time in blockchain development.
“I firmly believe that blockchain is a technology that will change the traditional financial industry and bring great changes to the world. At the same time, it is a passionate and challenging career for me to engage in the development of blockchain. And Loopring’s team is one of the strong stars in the night sky of blockchain, so I choose to join Loopring’s team.”
Growing Team
With these new talents, Loopring now has 30 full-time members, 23 of which are engineers. Together we will unleash our high-performance ZKP-based applications to the Ethereum ecosystem, and beyond.
