Asymmetry

A Poem

Bent along sorry structures
the coursings
of terrifying words
begin their streaking alongside
only one side
only one occasion for some
truth
or despairing of making it
to the functioning
of the watch
The uneven stretching
of the art
that comes from touching this
Holding grief
for a little at arms-length
the sticking point of agony
has opened the door to unbalance
the look
& send you searching
on your side for a time
