Invitation of the Dawn
Listen for that quiet voice

Allow yourself to come to rest
even if only for a single breath
and listen for that quiet voice
that speaks the invitation of the dawn
to be moved by the sheer
generosity of all you have to give
As those last few sips of tea
in the faded old cup that is
cooling on the table
contain every nourishment of your longing
and all the world leans in
to whisper your encouragement
