Pythagoreans’ Poem

The hypotenuse of art and science

The boundary between real and imaginary
is severed by gravity’s indefatigable poetry
The tetrahedron dance of severed snakeheads
spin-foam networks covariant in their resolution
Penrose diagrams peering beyond time’s realm
and its imaginary elements in a looking-glass
to supersede Lie algebraic contorted twists
we become one among singularity’s eternal bliss.

Forgive my sins for spin group compliments
as I etch my heart in factorial matrices
somewhere transition amplitudes rise
weaving our brethren as a mystery inside
don’t forget your midnight dreams in waveforms
and the uncertainty in the complementary
hearts of reality, beating together we hide.

A vertex percolates within our morning brew
as local Euclidean invariance bends and bellows
a smile from an old man’s semiclassical mood
as we speak of entanglements among the lake
and delta function love stories,
now too late to start anew
as wooden houses dwindle in autumn
stars align as the final comet flows.

You have quantized my sorrows
in the conservation of love and death
Purgatory in calculated infinities ride
amongst the insights revealed at birth
as I pray for you to find me
in a constant dropped beneath
the Planckian river frothing always.

Somewhere within the darkness, I sit
Pythagorean’s caves pondering absurdities
writing prophecy upon the walls
sketching futuristic holograms
for the immortal insight to believe
as we ride the coming sinusoidal tides
we unearth: cloth, ink, and sand
truth in a mathematical verse,
a way forward march we stand,
immersed in our cosmic fractal plan.
