What is human?
We fight wars . . . . . . . . . . over our differences
Thinking “they” are different . . . . . . .from “us”
And so many cry out . . . that we are the same!
When actually, really . . . . . we are all different
Every single one of us is different . . . . . unique
We have learnt now . . . . . .to change ourselves
Which nature always knew, and done all along
We can now be more different, from each other
Will we now fraction away, into a billion wars?
Or, will we learn, to expand our vision of life?
And so, let us begin with our species —
And then seek outward
to the animals and plants we have found
and are yet to find
in our world
and the worlds to be found
through every rung
in that gradient of sentience
Till we encompass
all of life
And we are then ready to spread
farther
Into the beyond, beyond life
Past the illusion,
and into the knowing …
