What Kept Me Alive Was A Syndrome

years after, yesterday,
through sundry seasons,
from sultry to bleak,
chasing hope,
a rusted heart,
ruptured lips,
saggy breasts, shaggy clothes,
entangled hairs.
finally, she came,
right at my door,
against the odds,
running into my arms,
delirious and wearied;
I was trembling too.
after glazing stare
of long hours,
unspoken words,
yet sharing thoughts;
we called it a day,
to the bed, cuddling;
and today,
I decide to return the meds,
oh, doctor, this time,
I'm not hallucinating again!
