4 million BUN milestone, Aya Trades’ success, and some grammar drama
Our auction platform has been experiencing significant activity lately, with various events taking place. In particular, the demand for BUN has reached an all-time high, with users using cryptocurrency to bid for NFTs in the battle pit. As the demand for NFTs increases, so does the demand for BUN. In just one night, over 4 million BUN were sold, each with a fixed value of USDC 0.20 ERC20.
Despite the fierce competition in the battle pit, we have not overlooked other events on our platform. This past week, we celebrated the sale of the 40th NFT on auction, created by Chandrakant Dajee.
One curator brand that has stood out is Aya Trades, which has achieved numerous successes on our platform. Their NFT, “The Thinker,” has surpassed NFT Curation Partner’s “Stardust Dreams” as the highest-ranked NFT in USDC. Aya Trades currently holds the record for the third, fourth, and fifth-highest valued NFTs in USDC. Additionally, Aya Trades has recently crossed over 1 million BUN on all their NFTs, making them the first curator to do so.
Our commitment to highlighting our latest creators and their work is unwavering, and we are excited to announce the launch of the talented Chitra Dhookan’s NFT, “Emergence,” on our platform. This artist draws inspiration from her life experiences and interests to create unique, expressive works.
Aya Trades has been making waves on our platform with their consistent victories. Recently, they regained the title for the highest-ranked NFT in USDC with their piece “The Thinker,” surpassing NFT Curation partners’ “Stardust Dreams.” This top position has been going back and forth between the two curators, and “The Thinker” is still up for auction, so it’s uncertain how high the bidding will go. Aya Trades currently holds the third, fourth, and fifth-highest valued NFTs in USDC, setting an impressive record. Moreover, they have crossed the milestone of 1 million BUN on all their NFTs, making them the first curator to do so. We became the first curation partner to have an auction cross 200k BUN. It ended around 245k BUN and still holds the record of the most valuable piece on the platform in terms of BUN bid at that auction.
We then went on to have two more of our auctions cross the 200k BUN mark. That makes us the first curation partner to have achieved such a feat. We are close to having a 4th also cross that 200k milestone.
These three pieces in question are ranked as the 1st, 3rd, and 4th most valuable pieces on the platform in terms of BUN value and we are close to also having the 5th or 6th.
Last but not least, we became the first and only curation partner to have crossed 1million BUN bid in total on all our auctions. We are currently almost at 1,250,000 BUN bid at our auctions so far. That is more than a third of all BUN spent in the Arena so far!
