Just in time for Mother’s Day, the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites announces its fourth Cooking on the Edge Class with Chef Andreas, to be held on Saturday, May 11, at the Westin Bonaventure hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Cooking and entertaining at home has become increasingly popular, and for the fifth consecutive year, the Cooking on the Edge with Chef Andreas culinary series will show you how to become a celebrity in your own kitchen and pick up a few chef secrets along the way. Culinary students will be guided by Chef Andreas as they prepare a four-course meal, and then enjoy the meal at the Chef’s Table accompanied by a wine pairing.
The May 11, 2013 cooking class pays tribute to Chef Nieto's signature Mother’s Day selections from LA Prime restaurant, starting with stone fruit and canary melon with honeycomb and lavender. The second course is a seafood crepe with smoked salmon, Louisiana crawfish and rock shrimp served with creamed cheese and cognac crème. A third course features wild striped bass, spring truffle, whole glazed carrots and pan roasted red and purple potatoes. The fourth course finishes with assorted petite desserts. Selected wines will be paired with each course.

About Chef Andreas Nieto and LA Prime Restaurant
