Why Dart May Be The Most Important Language In Programming

I recently read this article

Dart: A Terrible Language and a Huge Marketing Success!

An article I can only describe as being ‘extremely petty’.

But this is not the first article I’ve seen on this topic and it will not be the last. I think in programming there’s always a sense of new things are bad. So when I was learning programming I was always like, “Why do we need another operator for this? Can’t we just do it with if statements?” Yeah, you could, but it would require a lot more writing.

I think this is the feeling that a lot of people have with Dart. Why do we need another programming language? Isn’t JS/Typescript/Python/C#/Java/Rust/Kotlin good enough?
