The Estadio Moctezuma was a stadium located in the city of Torreón, Mexico. Although known for being Club Santos Laguna’s first stadium since its founding in 1983, Estadio Moctezuma also hosted matches for Club de Fútbol Torreón and Club de Fútbol Laguna in the early years after its construction in 1970.

The stadium’s first match took place on June 15, 1970, with a 3–1 loss in a friendly match by the local team, Torréon against the popular Chivas Guadalajara. From 1970 until 1978 the Estadio Moctezuma hosted matches from Torreón and Laguna. With the extinction of the two clubs, the place was almost unusable for almost 5 years, until Club Santos Laguna emerged and adopted the Estadio Moctezuma as its home.

In 1986, in a symbolic act to represent a new phase, the stadium was reopened under the name of Estadio Corona, in a ceremony that was attended by the Mexican football team.

In November 2007, in a partnership between Santos Laguna and the automotive products company HSK, a project was presented for the demolition of the Corona Stadium and the construction of a new and modern stadium on the site, which would bear the same name as its predecessor.

The last match at the former Estadio Corona took place on November 1, 2009, with a 1–1 draw between Club Santos Laguna and Club Universidad Nacional. The stadium was demolished the day after the match.
