Lowery Brothers Band “Jazz Life
According to history, Jazz is a music genre that originated from African American communities of New Orleans in the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It emerged in the form of independent traditional and popular musical styles. Jazz spans a period of over a hundred years, encompassing a very wide range of music, making it difficult to define. This very day, people seem to have a great love for Jazz music.
There is a Jazz band called The Lowery Brothers Band that have played and performed at Xen Lounge. According to their bio, Trumpeter/Songwriter Christopher Lowery and his brother, Drummer/Producer Wesley Lowery, make up the heart of the Lowery Brothers Band. They are straight out of Philadelphia. With original compositions that range in styles from Jazz, Hip Hop, R&B, there is no other choice than to place them under the genre of good music. Over all, the moment that you hear them play, you know that they are playing Jazz music.
