Lindsay Lohan’s name and face are all over the advertsing and marketing for this play. Playing on her celeb status — yes, yes they are. Shamelessly.

Over priced. Under performed. This is really really not good.

Lohan however was not the worst thing about this. Not by a long shot. You can tell she’s giving it a go. But the rapid-fire style of David Mamet’s text is too much for her and for the rest of this three person cast.

Nigel Lindsey bravely fought for the last act but he was on his own. And at this point it was too late. I simply didn’t care if his character suceeeded or not in this fast-paced world of the film industry…

Reflecting on it, we did a better dress rehearsal of my school Xmas production when I was 10…

If you can’t keep up with the script; step away from the script… Only Lindsey comes close to playing this with any understanding of what he’s saying; and even then only in the second half.

The rest is a car crash. It was painful. And at £50 for a rubbish seat — this was daylight robbery.

1/5 — don’t bother, watch Glengarry Glenross if you want some vintage Mamet. This isnt worth it…
