The Salzburg Media Academy offers research, leadership, and networking opportunities for Graduate students to explore their interests and capabilities fully. Considering they often come with a deeper academic understanding and more years of research/professional experience compared to our undergraduate participants, we curate certain advanced Graduates-only (and optional for undergrads) sessions to:

a) support Grads to fully engage with, participate in, and benefit from the Media Academy experience;

b) aid and assist Grads to fulfil roles and responsibilities expected of them while in Salzburg;

c) provide meaningful pathways to continue transformative change-making work on their individual research and professional trajectories. the Academy experiences.

Below is the list of sessions and engagements as part of the Grad track:

  1. On Leadership: What kind of a Leader are you?
  2. On Research: Writing the Conceptual article
  3. Research Epistemology: What kind of a researcher are you?
  4. Salon: The Janus Face of Digital Journalism
Dr Stephen Reese delivers his lecture-workshop for the graduate students at the media academy. Several undergrads joined the optional session.
