Video Game Review: Albion Online
If you are into MMORPG you will love Albion Online. It’s a completely different experience from any other MMO you’ve played. It will test your gut, your stress resistance, and for sure, your temper! But it will also make you feel like a champion when things go your way! Let’s go ahead and get into this review!
Getting started
Albion is a game that starts very peacefully. You wake up after a shipwreck on an island. An island you wanted to get to. Now your adventure begins! You need to find a way to get from this island to the main continent, which was your original target. To do that you must first get some equipment, as you are literally wearing just your underwear.
Albion has an interesting gathering and crafting system. You pick up one of 5 resources that are used in crafting and building all sorts of stuff, including armor and weapons.
That is the first thing you need to do. Build a Tier 1 weapon and armor!
You then need to cross a bridge of scoundrels and then reach a camp where all people from other shipwrecks gather. Yes, all of those people are real-life people, other players!
In this camp, you are given a series of quests to build yourself better armor and gather tools. Then you are sent to take out a Fort, all by yourself! That should be fun…
