About Love Heals Cancer
LHC is a service-based community of patients, caregivers, survivors, volunteers, and all individuals or organizations dedicated to provide love and support to cancer patients around the world.
We explore various healing approaches to cancer and provide you with information and resources necessary to help make a decision. We’re here to walk with our fighters each step of the way and make it as beautiful as it can get.
The purpose of this Medium blog is to share everything LHC does to inspire and spread kindness with our patients and caregivers.

We aim to provide support, information, and services to help people in their journey against Cancer.
Our Purpose
Our primary goal is to help Cancer patients, their family members, friends, loved ones, and everyone else find unbiased information about healing options in conventional and alternative therapies. We also look at the psychological and spiritual aspects of Cancer and walk with people to help them discover a better life. We also advocate communities of people with similar experiences to share and support each other.
We also want to urge people to look at healing holistically — encompassing the mind, body, and spirit. Our team regularly goes through various researches conducted across the globe and shares its finding with people. We want to make LHC a platform for anyone seeking information or support for Cancer.
Our Inspiration
LHC is inspired and advised by —
- Michael Lerner, President & Co-founder of BCCT(Beyond Conventional Cancer Therapies) & Commonweal. He was the recipient of a MacArthur Prize Fellowship for contributions to public health in 1983 and is author of Choices in Healing: Integrating the Best of Conventional and Complementary Therapies (MIT Press).
2. Nipun Mehta, Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer, ServiceSpace — an organization run entirely by volunteers. They leverage technology to encourage everyday people around the world to do small acts of service.
A note about our Founders
Our founders, Dimple Parmar, Late Nitesh Prajapat and Gautam Prajapati had a first-hand encounter with Cancer when Nitesh was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer a couple of years ago.
Just before Nitesh left his physical body due to the Cancer, he made his last wish. He wanted his wife, Dimple, to build an organization that loves and cares for people who are fighting against this dreadful disease.
After his demise, his wife Dimple Parmar knew her purpose — she would dedicate her life to help people in their journey against Cancer and Nitesh’s brother Gautam Prajapati joined hands to fulfil his brother’s mission.
LHC was founded with a clear objective of increasing awareness about Cancer and its prevention along with helping patients get through the journey with someone always by their side. LHC also understands the pain and suffering that the family members and caregiver go through and extends support to them as well. You can read more about our backstory here.
