Pearls and the Vase
The days had turned into an endless cycle of monotony for the pearls and the vase. They had resided in the dimly lit room for as long as they could remember, their only company was the occasional tap of twigs on the window pane.
There were moments when a flock of birds sang lullabies to their chicks and the wind rattled the fragile pearls but still the vase remained motionless.
No sound , no touch , no smell stirred those glassy pearls to life . They remained deaf to summer’s turquoise call, blind to admire golds of autumn and numb enough to absorb those pastels of winter .
But one day, a glimmer of hope seeped through the cracks of the blinds, casting a delicate light on the desperate duo.
It was then that they realised, they were not alone in their solitude, and perhaps, there was still a chance for them to venture into the world beyond the shackles of their glass prison.
Off course , they were lifeless creatures , they never moved and would stay there in the same vase more for years . But their momentary romance with Sun-rays was the most enchanting one .
What about the Heart resembling Vase , where we decorate a million pearl looking dreams ? Safe , treasured and hidden .
The Sun every day fills the holes, rifts and hollows of your heart . The sky plays the post man and all those letters having second , third till tenth chances address you and only your rose-tinted dreams .
Listen to the soldier Sun
It has something to say
To you and only You….
