No one can “make” you do anything. We have choices and a voice. In tempting situations it requires conviction, or choice to not stay in the situation. That will define your character — to want something so bad and still look ahead before you act. If it feels wrong to you, it likely is.

It is not always just about right and wrong socially, it’s about foresight, awareness, and the laws of nature.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is newton’s law of motion (3rd law).

This applies similarly in life. Every action will cause (re)action. Knowing what those (re)actions could be is what assists you in your decisions around your actions. You and only you are accountable for your actions. No one else can make you commit those actions.

So… choose wisely my children. And when you don’t choose as wisely, learn from the “re-action”, do not ignore it or run away from it, as that “re-action” is as much yours as the choice you made. Let it teach you about the laws of nature.

But! Never be still too long either, as stillness is still action. It obeys the same principles, it will re-act with stillness of your life.

When still, self-reflect, pray, and appreciate what God blesses you with in your life. The beautiful earth, your brain, choice, feelings, the ability to be still in this moment, the love of family, and the love within your hearts.

In stillness, embrace your breath, as it is the relationship between you and the earth. We breathe in earth’s oxygen, we exhale carbon dioxide providing what the earth needs for it’s trees, plants and natural life. That is a precious connection we should never ignore and can bring you calm in many of storms.

Love,

Dad
