Alumni return to the Accelerator to pass on some words of wisdom

Nate McNiff with the Mobile Entertainment Theater checking in. I wanted to tell you about our session on Tuesday, our first session of the 2017 Winter EforAll Accelerator!

It was a night of meetings. We got a chance to get to know each other, and Joey and Lianna a little better and threw out some fun facts about ourselves. I can’t wait to see who this cohort grows tighter as a unit. There is already a team feel building.

We then got to meet three people who had already been through the accelerator and experienced success. We had the opportunity to pick their brains and ask for their best advice. The advice ranged from more professional aspects such as making sure your mentors understand your business vision right off the bat to more personal things such as making sure that we are looking out for each other and setting time aside for family and self care. Big thank you from myself and the cohort’s to Kim Yeasir of Thrive and Al and Andrea Machado from Phoenix Rising Pizza for taking the time and sharing your advice.

After our speakers were done we got a good look at what the next three months will look like for us. There is a LOT of work and learning to be done. It is a little intimidating, but I know this cohort is totally up for it! Here we go!
