Budapest is often described as the “Little Paris of Middle Europe”, Budapest is famous not only for the monuments reflecting its own 1,000-year-old culture, but also for the relics of others who settled here. Remains from both Roman occupation and much later ruled by the Turks can still be seen in the city. After the Ottoman Empire the union with Austria has a particular influence on the city’s form and style.

The capital has two sides, Buda and Pest, stretching along the banks of the Danube, representing two different characters of the city.

I was in Budapest on the 23rd of May to attend Blockchanium, a conference delivering Blockchain developments from a range of speakers. I would not consider it as the best conference I have been to, but there were an array of speakers and about 10 ICO’s pitching there story. I was there as a VIP guest just to meet Yagub Rahimov. The only reason I actually went to Budapest.

Yagub is a very unassuming guy who I met along with Salim Ali (Loyakk Inc. CEO and our Platform partner) in Istanbul about 2 months earlier. There are very few people that I have come across in life that immediately strike you as genuine … and Yagub is one of those.

Yagub Rahimov is the current CEO of 7Marketz, a leading full-service digital marketing agency which targets tech start-up’s. He is also a serial entrepreneur running 19 Fintech businesses, a philanthropist, and an early Bitcoin investor. His expertise in blockchain marketing is backed up by his blockchain smart news platform; the first of its kind in the world being powered by AI.

I was able to spend some time in beautiful Budapest with Yagub and his wider 7Markerz Team.

After the event in Cyprus, I approached Yagub to join the Loyakk Advisory board and for a guy who does not easily join ICO’s as an Advisor, he was keen to start a conversation.

The event in Budapest was where we signed the Loyakk Advisor Agreement.

To finish off out time in Budapest, Yagub and I spent a couple hours the next morning sightseeing in Budapest on Segway’s … An amazing experience! All in all a very productive week and got to spend time with a legend! #Grateful
