To celebrate International Women’s Day and our 3rd birthday, LTUX London joined forces with General Assembly with the event International Women’s day - Equality in Tech. There was a panel discussion with three women who made it in the UX and tech world (including our very own Sophie).

The panel discussions focused on a worldwide theme for this year — #BeBoldForChange. There was also a feature Expose UX episode featuring female entrepreneurs to spark the discussions.

The main topics discussed was the bold action each panelist took to make their mark in the tech world. The panelists told the audience their story to success as well as the challenges they faced on the way.

The floor was then opened up for discussion, the audience asked questions inspired by the subject brought up by the panellist as well as on the theme of boldness in general.

Panellists

Julie Kennedy - Director Digital Design at Capital One
Sophie Mitchell - Founder and Leader, Ladies that UX London
Merje Shaw - Managing Director, The Most Jam Ltd

Thanks

Many thanks to General Assembly as well the speakers.
