NINE MONTHS! That’s the longest hiatus I’ve ever had from writing, which is disappointing, to say the least. Especially when you consider that the past nine months have been some of the most productive months of my life. ¶ Here’s a quick recap: ¶ Got a “real” job, working at New Ventures BC. ¶ Was invited to audition for Yale ¶ Was accepted into Yale Opera (full scholarship, baby!)

Back in 2012, she gave a TED talk about a new musical instrument being developed by her and a team of engineers: a glove loaded with various sensors that allow you to control music samples in real time.
