Staring into the Future
I was just checking out the blog archive and realized I haven’t posted anything in nine months.
I was just checking out the blog archive and realized I haven’t posted anything in nine months. NINE MONTHS! That’s the longest hiatus I’ve ever had from writing, which is disappointing, to say the least. Especially when you consider that the past nine months have been some of the most productive months of my life.

Over the past week I’ve become acquainted with a new music technology that’s being touted by British avant-garde pop star Imogen Heap. Back in 2012, she gave a TED talk about a new musical instrument being developed by her and a team of engineers: a glove loaded with various sensors that allow you to control music samples in real time. The glove is called Mi.Mu, and is available on Kickstarter for £1200 (£750 for a build-it-yourself kit)
