Luchadores POAP Hunting : An Epic Summer Adventure
The Luchadores POAP Hunt is an exhilarating summer event that combines the excitement of Lucha Libre with the joy of collecting unique digital assets. Let’s dive into the world of Luchadores and recap the incredible POAPs from June, while getting ready for the upcoming ones in July.

The goals behind these hunts are to increase Luchadores visibility in the ecosystem by participating in DeFi & NFTs events and gather the community around this funny competition. Several types of POAPs can be found:
- Contributors: Prove you met with Luchadores contributors by engaging with them & minting their POAP during the month.
- Events: Prove you attended events in common with the Luchadores community by finding the Luchadores x Events POAPs in the venues & side events.
- Partnerships: Prove you visited our partner booth & minted our POAP in common.
What is POAP ?
POAP, short for “Proof of Attendance Protocol,” allows you to mint memories as digital mementos we call “POAPs.” Give POAPs to people for sharing a memory with you.
All of your POAPs are displayed in the POAP app (iOS & Android), so you can remember the good times wherever you are. An ecosystem of applications brings your POAPs to life.
How does POAP work ?
1. Mint
Each POAP is created to tell a story. Preserve your most important memories forever on the blockchain with words and pictures that bring back the moment.
2. Drop
Connect collectors to shared history. When you drop a POAP, you give collectors a chance to own their memories. Use the POAP platform to give collectibles directly to collectors.
3. Connect
Make your memories live forever.
After minting, POAPs unlock a variety of experiences. From group chats to discounts, paint parties and more, POAPs keep the good times alive.
Junes Recap
June was an exciting first month for the Luchadores Hunt. Here’s a quick recap of the POAPs Hunting:
- “You’ve met Dydymoon in June 2023”: Participants had the chance of meeting Dydymoon, DeFi Strategist & Luchador contributor. Engaging with him during the month of June earned participants a special POAP as a proof of their encounter.
- “You’ve met NelsonRodMar in June 2023”: NelsonRodMar, another prominent Luchador, added his presence to June’s Hunt. Participants who connected with NelsonRodMar were rewarded with an exclusive POAP.
- “You’ve met HeyZachy in June 2023”: HeyZachy, a rising star within the Luchadores community, was also present during June’s Luchadores POAP Hunt. Those who had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with HeyZachy received a unique POAP.
- “Luchadores x NFC”: The 2nd edition of NFC happened early June in Lisbon : to represent the Luchadores community at NFC (Non-Fungible Conference), our contributors hid a special POAP in the venue. Participants who found it earned another digital collectible.
- “Luchadores x Cometh”: The collaboration between both projects started a long time ago, with the first pinatas release. To celebrate, we partnered with Cometh, a leading blockchain gaming platform, to introduce a limited edition POAP. Participants who visited Cometh’s booth at NFC received this exclusive POAP.
- “Luchadores x DFF Bordeaux”: To celebrate the first DeFi France meetup in Bordeaux, contributors showcased an exclusive & final POAP for event attendees.
Raffle & Prizes
Every POAP collected represents one chance in June’s raffle coming at the end of the summer.
If you manage to collect them all, you’ll get 6 entries in the raffle, increasing your chances to win one of the 10 Aztec Pinatas in prizes.
July’s Teaser

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming:
- Exciting Events: The Luchadores POAP Hunt will be represented during prominent events such as EthCC and ETH Paris, bringing the thrill of Luchadores to the Ethereum community.
- More Contributors: Grab the opportunity to meet and interact with 5 Luchadores during the July hunt. Each will reward participants with unique POAPs, commemorating their memorable interactions.
- Expanded Prize Pool: The Luchadores POAP Hunt in July will feature an expanded prize pool, including not only exclusive digital collectibles but also 10 additional Pinatas (ERC 1155) & 6 Luchadores (ERC 721)

Salsa
Salsa is a messaging app linked to POAPs that creates a profile when you connect your wallet (iOS & Android)
This tracks other Salsa users you met / discussed with, as well as all events attended. Most importantly, Salsa allows users to create group chats for specific POAP(s) holders.
