The Great Goddess Algorithmia Has An Excellent Sense Of Humour
And I’m here for inadvertant animal death
Being a Penguin reader is no doubt frustrating as I alternate between writing voraciously for a few months, then vanish for what seems like an eternity. Is the Penguin dead? Will they return? What’s going on? This sort of hokey-cokey approach flies in the face of those at the Medium coalface churning out eight stories a day.
But rest assured, even when I’m on ‘silent mode’ I’m still here, still reading and still active in the wider Medium community. Chances are I’m probably scripting something new or my portfolio career needs to tilt in a different direction for a few weeks.
Both in this case.
However, in my brief sojourn into the Mediumsphere this morning, the Great Goddess Algorithmia reminded me of her excellent sense of humour. She’s doing her darnedest to tempt me into writing a short article by placing these stories adjacent on my curated feed.
I couldn’t resist. I had to bang this out before work.
