Ludena Protocol and Arcade Partner up to Accelerate the Gamefi Industry!
Ludena Protocol is proud to announce a new partnership with the Gamefi platform, Arcade! Arcade is a Gamefi platform aimed at helping gamers earn rewards without extreme amounts of time spent on gameplay. In perfect timing, Arcade debuts just as Ludena Protocol is beginning to work towards creating a P2E metaverse of its own!
The team at Arcade began their project as crypto and Gamefi enthusiasts ready to create the next big game guild. However, the team quickly realized that staying up to date and connected within the Gamefi industry was difficult and unsustainable for most NFT collectors. So their team came up with a clever solution, and combined Defi and Gamefi, creating Arcade. Arcade is powered by Solana, and is a platform that allows token holders to lend their tokens to real in-game activities for a share of the rewards. This allows individuals, pro-gamers, and game guilds to earn rewards without having to own exorbitant in-game NFTs, and also allows for crypto newbies that may not yet fully understand the technicalities behind P2E games to learn from the pros first hand, all while earning rewards.
In order to access the Arcade platform, patrons will have to utilize their $ARCADE tokens by converting it into $xARCADE, the synthetic form of $ARCADE that can only be utilized on the Arcade platform. Once the patron has $xARCADE, they will be able to lend their tokens to in-game activities by temporarily allocating them to the mission pool of their choice. Once the patron has selected a mission pool and the mission pool is entirely funded, the mission pool operator (or “MPO”) will be able to execute the in-game mission. If successful, the patrons that had tokens staked in that mission pool will be returned the initial tokens that were lent to the MPO, in addition to a share of the in-game rewards. However, if the mission was unsuccessful, the patrons that had tokens staked in that mission pool will only be returned the initial tokens staked, but suffer no loss other than the loss of bitter defeat. Essentially, Arcade is a platform that is committed to lowering the barrier to entry to the b5lockchain-based gaming space.
