We want to thank everyone who participated in our very first $LDN AMA event! We were overwhelmed to see the hundreds of questions from our community and, though it was tough, we chose the top 5 that we are confident would best clarify the aim of our Ludena Protocol project. Without further ado…
1. Mass adoption is what every project strives to achieve. How is Ludena Protocol ($LDN) going to achieve this? Do you have any plans to grasp worldwide attention towards Ludena Protocol ($LDN)?
Looking at the overall global trend of the gaming industry, which is upwards of $165B and growing, the gamer community size is at an all-time high. We strongly believe that it is every single one of those gamer’s dreams to get paid to play the games they love and we are the platform to fulfill that dream. We have over 200 game publisher clients, such as NCSoft, Nexon, Netmarble and Blizzard, that make some of the most popular and enjoyable games across the globe. Getting paid to play these major titles is one of the many rewards in place at Ludena and is part of fulfilling that gamer dream. We are confident that this fact will bring attention to our project on a global scale, to drive expansion beyond the Korean market. In addition, the virtual items trade market is a $50B industry in itself and each and every platform that provides a marketplace all have one thing in common, they charge their buyers and/or sellers fees to facilitate trades. On Ludena Protocol, our trading platform, which uses $LDN, will be completely fee-less (no gas fee either!) Being the only virtual item exchange in the world that has zero fees on trades should drive token demand and increase our loyal user base. We intend on making this a strong focal point in our global marketing campaigns to attract non-crypto users to our platform, paving the way towards $LDN mass adoption.
2. What are the unique features and/or comparative advantages of Ludena Protocol in relation to its competitors that will contribute to the value creation for token holders in the medium/long term?
Whereas our industry competitors tend to hone in on one aspect of the gaming industry, Ludena Protocol strives to create a comprehensive gaming experience. In addition to offering a platform for gamers to be rewarded for actual gaming, we also offer a rewards-based social media platform for users to share and explore valuable content. We have created the infrastructure for indie game developers to publish their games on Ludena’s gaming platform, while offering game publishers the ability to efficiently target marketing dollars, based on our mass amounts of gamer data. This unique, multifaceted approach, we believe, is necessary to create value for our token in both the medium and long run. Our token economy was designed around gamers, game developers and publishers utilizing the $LDN token, and as the gaming industry continues to grow, we believe this will result in long term stability for token holders. For example, GameTalkTalk has ran countless successful marketing campaigns for upcoming game titles for many game publisher heavy hitters, due to our expertise in analyzing and harnessing the power of big gamer data. Until now, these valuable marketing packages were bought and paid for with fiat, however, upon release of the DApp version of GameTalkTalk, we will only be accepting $LDN payments for such packages. As the number and frequency of new game titles increase along with overall increased gaming popularity, we can assume that the $LDN token will also see an uptick in demand, realizing value creation demanded by token holders.
3. Is knowledge of writing codes required for developers to integrate cryptocurrencies into their games and applications? What tools does the Ludena platform offer to the developers of new games?
While being able to write code is necessary to develop any game, the actual game development portion of the publishing process is in the hands of the development agency. In terms of special coding used to integrate $LDN in future third party game titles, our platform uses REST API, an HTTP Protocol, which is a tool that most developers are very familiar with and which can easily work with any cryptocurrency. The games will be able to directly integrate with Ludena Protocol and $LDN through the sale of in-game items, which will be exclusively purchasable with our native token.
In terms of tools that we do offer, Ludena Protocol has the infrastructure and audience that indie development companies find difficult to attract on their own. We offer developers, and publishers alike, a plethora of gamer insights to match upcoming games with the right demographics. These tools are of so much value to smaller developers around the world, as they can be out of reach, from a budgetary standpoint, for many.
4. As I am also a gamer, why should someone like me dive into Ludena Protocol?
Our platform is creating a new paradigm where you as a gamer, can perform game-related activities (play games, talk about games through social activities such as posts or comments, virtual game item trading, etc.), things you already do for free, but instead, reap rewards for these everyday activities. Wouldn’t you like to get paid for downloading a game you were going to download for free anyway? Wouldn’t you like to buy and sell the game items you want without paying a fee? And who doesn’t want to get paid to play video games, right? While you are enjoying playing your favourite titles, the company that published each title is collecting data based on your gaming habits, as well as, other more sensitive information, such as your personal information. These companies profit from this information on a massive scale and most gamers are none the wiser. When you spend money in most games, they profit double from you, by selling that collected information to advertisers. For the gamer it is a lose/lose situation, as there is zero compensation from this accumulated profit. At Ludena Protocol, this is simply not the case, as our users receive rewards for their platform engagement across the board. The ultimate online gaming paradise is just the horizon and we know that gamers are going to love what we have in store!
5. What exact problems will this project solve?
As briefly touched upon in an earlier question, a major issue with the gaming industry is that gamers are not rewarded for their activities, and the only party benefiting is the advertiser (game publisher). Our solution is to create a system where every participant, or the big three, can gain benefits.
For Game Publishers: Marketing dollars are targeted, no longer wasted, and result in real ROI effectiveness, through in-game purchases and driven player growth, due to our accumulated 1TB+ of user analytics and our 8 years of proven marketing success.
Indie Game Developers: Our platform is an ideal solution for indie game developers, who want to reach a large audience, without paying exuberant commission fees, and who want to drive in-game spend, as our token economy design encourages.
Players: Can discover or upload helpful game strategies, hints and tricks and receive fair rewards for all kinds of engagement; Can easily find or sell rare and special game items in the world’s first fee-free virtual goods marketplace; Can get matched with new friends to play fun and simple games with on Ludena’s 1:1 hyper casual gaming platform.
Today’s gamers have to use a variety of platforms to address their needs, what we solve, on a basic level, is not only a fairness issue but a convenience issue as well, by offering a truly comprehensive gamer-centric ecosystem, where all gaming-related needs and wants can be met.

When will $LDN list on major exchanges?
We are working tirelessly to ensure that our $LDN shareholders have access to the best possible cryptocurrency exchanges around the world. That being said, we are in talks with several major exchanges from some of the world’s top markets, however, due to NDA agreements we are not privy to release any further detailed information. Please be aware that listing on a major exchange is our top priority and we want the best for our community and token.
Will there be an $LDN public sale?
At the time of this writing, we have no plans to offer any public sale of our token.
When will the mobile application come out?
Currently, GameTalkTalk is available for Android in the Korean Google Play store. We are working on our English version, which is slated for release in this quarter of this year (Q3 2020).
