Crypto Today.

‘This is the next big thing, FOMO, this product will change the world — the new revolutionary product.’ It’s the same thing over and over, but personally, I think they’re trying to change the wrong thing, and the industry won’t change until there’s an attitude shift.

Crypto, and by association, blockchain, was supposed to change the world, solving the double-spending problem and giving people everywhere power over their assets. What actually happened was one of the biggest scams in history. ICO projects made empty promises that couldn’t be kept, shillers were paid thousands to promote projects they had no faith in, and imposters plagued the industry. Which is where we find ourselves today, in a bear market with little hope of recovering because people care more about a quick buck then tech that can help improve society.

Until Ludos.

Ludos stands apart from the majority of projects in the sphere in many ways. Sure it’s impressive they have SoftBank and many other major investors backing them; sure — their core team has an impressive background; sure they’ve made important connections with Zabeel and their many other partners; sure they’ve won awards; sure they’ve already had an ad on Times Square; sure they’ve been invited to conferences and had technical exchanges with ChinaSoft — that’s not what’s truly important.

What is truly important is that they are transparent and HONEST. They release weekly updates outlining not only how many new members joined but more importantly, what development steps have been completed and what is yet to be finished. The transparency they promote in their whitepaper is clearly portrayed in their interactions with the community. Even more importantly, development has already begun and huge strides are being made, the LUD Pay wallet is basically released in Japan — BEFORE taking money from the public. This attitude is what the industry needs, what we all need.

Runner-Up: @maurodelvecchio

Ludos Protocol — Fulfilling one’s childhood dream.

I’m not much of a gamer myself nowadays, but I do enjoy blowing off some steam, from time to time. I mean, it’s pretty relaxing to go for a ride with some cars I will probably never afford or explore new territories in some of the games I own.

However, back in the days, things were a bit different, as I was much more into gaming than I am right now. Actually, I was playing probably a bit too much. And I ended up getting very good at some games I was playing, not to mention that I was gathering serious amounts of items.

I like to believe that my entrepreneurial mind was working from an early age, because I was thinking about a way of making profit from those items I had, like a marketplace for them, where I can exchange them of in-game credit, or, why, not a way of selling those items for real money. But this was a lot of years ago and it wasn’t possible to do it.

Fast forward, I discovered this blockchain thing and invested in a few successful projects. Seeing that I have a thing for spotting such project, I also decided to follow Ludos Protocol, because — among other things — these guys were promising to solve my childhood problem: allow gamers to make a profit from playing.

I know, the market is terrible and talking about a project that will begin its ICO soon will be blamed by many. Still, I honestly believe that blockchain — through projects like Ludos — can really change the gaming industry. Getting rewarded for playing your favorite games. Is there anything better you can ask for, as a gamer?

Probably not.

The gaming industry has a huge potential and its growth was spectacular in 2018. 2019 will probably bring in even bigger numbers, meaning that this is the perfect climate for Ludos to get big!

Third Place: @CamelOnsies

Ludos Strong.

Ludos Protocol represents to me probably the last ICO project that I trust. The idea is initially what caught my attention. The idea that I would be able to play games be rewarded as well as be able to sell and trade my in-game items/achievements was such an amazing idea. I have seen how big CS:GO skins have become and how they have changed the CS:GO community; it’s unbelievable. I feel Ludos will be able to do this for every game, but also allow every single gaming community to come together with a common link.

I am also a big believer in projects with incredibly well-credentialed teams and “institutional” support. I have seen a lot of projects say they can build very complex ecosystems and be better than Amazon or Tencent. Although almost every time this has been at best a stretch of the truth. The Ludos team has real-world experience across various gaming-related industries, as well as the processes necessary to create commercially scaleable and capable systems & products.

I am a big believer that pre-ICO projects like Ludos will pop in the next bull run due to their solid team base, amazing partnerships and the support of both large traditional and crypto gatekeepers. All these elements make me confident that Ludos Protocol has the right idea, the right team and has the right timing. I am very grateful to be apart of the community and have big hopes and dreams for the project.

We really appreciate our fans for showing us such strong support. Please contact Ludos Admin (@ludosadm) in Telegram to claim your rewards. There are still many other activities in Telegram/Facebook/Twitter, so it’s never too late to come and participate now!

About Ludos Protocol

Ludos Protocol is a purpose-built blockchain infrastructure project for the gaming community. As only the third blockchain project to be backed by Japanese investment giant Softbank, Ludos addresses numerous shortcomings in the existing gaming landscape. Its main chain + multi-sidechain architecture allows games to run entirely on their own blockchain, preventing scalability issues that have plagued previous blockchain-based games. Additionally, the Protocol seeks to create a gamer-friendly ecosystem whereby game developers and gamers can come together to easily crowdfund and build on the platform. The use of non-fungible tokens (NFT’s) within the ecosystem will allow gamers to swap assets in one game for assets in another. Finally, through their partnership with FullPay Japan, Ludos will give gamers the chance to use LUD tokens that are earned in-game to shop and buy at a range of retail stores in Japan and later the world.
