New York’s most dangerous neighborhood is safer than Baltimore

This graph is the the Murders per 100K residents in among the cities in United States.

This graph is the the Murders per 100K residents in among the neighborhoods in New York.

According to Ben Wellington’s findings, New York’s most dangerous neighborhood — Ocean Hill(28 murders/100K) is safer than Baltimore (38 murders/100K).

Interestingly, he also made a map of New York labeled with cities with similar murder rate. Although many New York neighborhood seems to be safer than many cities in the country, I still don’t want to live in Ocean Hill.
