Am I being selfish?
There is a fine line, for me, between being self-aware and being a little bit selfish.
It is tricky to understand where to draw this line.
I think self-reflection isn’t selfish, in fact for me I think it is a precursor to living a life filled with meaning and is the corner stone for my contribution to the broader social good.
But I think this only works if I keep reminding myself to take actions, even little ones, which place me out in the world. Otherwise I can spend a lot of time beavering away on well intentioned ideas without actually making connection with the world that I believe is in need of those ideas.
Just a little reminder really, to keep acting on the things I am thinking about.
