Do the thing.

Dear Self,

When I teach I am inviting people to deeply accept themselves so that they can communicate in authentic and courageous ways.

One of my students once realised that the statement “I am enough” was an incredible anchor for them.

I’d like to remember this statement for myself.

It can be easy for me to forget that when I perform, when I am a friend for others, when I am in a group, that I am enough in all of these situations.

With all my vulnerabilities, with my mistimed comments, with my awkwardness and sadness, with my joy and kindness…with all of that I am fallible, beautiful, imperfect and enough.

I’d like to remember to do the thing that I am inviting others to do.

Love

Luke
