Stuck in the middle.
I’m stuck in the middle.
In the middle of what?
In the middle of everything!
I have been building a website, it has been a personal goal for a long time to create a site for all my creative projects, and my very beta version has just gone live!
What this means is that I am in the middle of deciding where my letters to you are going to live online. I think it is time to leave Medium and to put my daily letters in my website. But that’s not a technically easy thing to do and, well it is all messy.
I have been in the middle of turning these letters into a performance in the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
I have been in the middle of deciding what to do next with Campfire.
I have been in the middle of a nasty flu.
For some reason, I think that all this ‘being in the middle’` means I have been questioning my commitment to writing to you each day.
The minute I published my website I felt like I had a new home for the letters and things started to change. That’s interesting. I’m frightened about moving everything to my own website but I know it is the right thing to do
My life has improved so much since I started this project. I am happier. I am more connected to my friends. I am learning more. I am doing more things that matter.
I know it is not time to finish the project.
I’m pretty sure finishing the project won’t feel like a tantrum. It will be obvious that it has run its course and that the next thing is waiting to emerge.
For now, I just keep going.
Love
Luke
