The emotion rollercoaster.

Dear Self,

Children have an incredible ability to veer wildly across the gamut of emotions.

To the seasoned professional I’m sure it all makes sense. To me it seems to be unpredictable.

Hunger, sadness, laughter, fear, distress, joy, hysteria, loneliness, hunger, tantrum, power games, playfulness, overtired, disaster, blinding insight, crying, hugging, hunger, sleeping, oh please some sleeping.

I really can’t get a handle on it.

But if I treat it like a roller coaster and convince myself that it is not life threatening I can kick back and enjoy it and have loads of fun.

Luke
