LUKSO Grants Program: Wave 1
The Foundation for the New Creative Economies (FNCE) is excited to reveal the selected projects for Wave 1 of the LUKSO Grants Program, with 23 innovative initiatives spanning across Infrastructure & Developer Tools, dApps and Education & Community.
This wave brings together both fresh faces and familiar names, with projects already part of the LUKSO ecosystem as well as new and eager contributors. We’re looking forward to supporting these projects in their journey as they drive forward the future of social, culture, and creativity within the LUKSO ecosystem.
A portion of the funds for Wave 1 were also allocated for diverse funding opportunities on Gitcoin. We aim to establish continuous, decentralized counterparts to the funds directly distributed through the LUKSO Grants Program, where the community decides how funds are allocated within our ecosystem. Category 1: Infrastructure & Developer Tools
In the Infrastructure and Developer Tools category, 30% of our Wave 1 grantees are focused on laying the groundwork for a more robust and scalable LUKSO ecosystem. These projects are at the heart of our network’s growth, providing essential tools and infrastructure that will empower developers to build with greater efficiency and innovation. From enhancing developer resources to creating new pathways for integration, these grantees are setting the stage for the next wave of advancements in LUKSO’s ecosystem.
Defolio
Defolio by Deliquified Labs is the ultimate Universal Profile management platform on LUKSO, enabling users and brands to seamlessly oversee their on-chain presence in one place.
dm3 protocol
dm3 protocol is Web3’s messaging protocol focused on secure encryption, decentralization, privacy, and interoperability. Building the foundation for a connected messaging ecosystem, dm3 is extending its reach to LUKSO and Universal Profiles.
GasHawk
GasHawk enhances on-chain living, making it more efficient, safe, and secure. Currently saving retail and institutions up to 95% on transaction fees, now expanding to LUKSO with a relayer service for Universal Profiles.

nextofus is building tools to pass on digital assets to your loved ones when needed. No intermediaries, no complicated recovery process. Powered by LUKSO and Universal Profiles.
Reclaim Protocol
Reclaim Protocol allows users to create and share zero-knowledge proofs by self-attesting their data on the web, enabling cryptographic proof of data integrity for information like bank balances or Uber rides.
Revoke.cash
Revoke.cash provides free and open-source tools to help crypto users stay safe, now integrating with LUKSO and Universal Profiles.
Universal Assistant Protocol
Universal Assistant Protocol (UAP), developed by @YearOneIO, is a rule engine catalog that enables Universal Profiles to engage virtual assistants. It automates tedious tasks for transactions, enhancing the Web3 user experience by empowering granular control over on-chain activity.
Category 2: dApps
In the dApp category, 52% of our Wave 1 grantees are enhancing the LUKSO ecosystem with innovative applications across a diverse range of industries. From decentralized social networks, art, music, and gaming to DeFi, marketplaces, and real-world assets, these projects are set to onboard new users and push the boundaries of what Web3 can achieve. With a focus on real-world utility and user experience, these dApps are poised to make significant contributions to the growth and adoption of the LUKSO network.
Esoteric
Esoteric leverages Universal Profiles and LSPs to create digital profiles and a social network that helps trendsetters get recognised for their taste and collaboratively curate what’s next.
F.A.M.E
F.A.M.E is gamifying fandom for creators. F.A.M.E rewards fans for sharing short-form videos with gamified challenges.
Fitchin
Fitchin is creating a Web3 community within the largest gaming ecosystem in LATAM, uniting Spanish-speaking gamers with LUKSO and accelerating creators through gamified experiences and dynamic storytelling for a global gaming community. They will be working closely with our friends at @thehub_dao to bring this vision to life.

Shipstone Labs is connecting the LUKSO community with Farcaster, enabling members to share Universal Profiles and assets through a Farcaster frame.

StreamGate is a next generation music platform amplifying artists supported by their biggest fans. With the power of blockchain tech and streaming data, they’re changing how emerging artists identify their next superfans to build new fandoms.
TrustSwap
TrustSwap is offering Web3 token management tools like token locks, liquidity locks, and token vesting. With an all time high TVL of $6.5B, 35,000+ customers, and 21+ major chains supported, TrustSwap is coming to LUKSO.

In the Education and Community category, our Wave 1 grantees are dedicated to strengthening the LUKSO ecosystem through impactful initiatives. This group includes long-standing projects that have played a key role in building our vibrant community, as well as new efforts focused on onboarding developers and creatives. By offering educational programs on LSPs and Universal Profiles, these projects are empowering both new and existing members to engage more deeply with the LUKSO network.
KEEZ DAO
KEEZ is a place to discover innovation behind LUKSO. From insightful panels, deep-dive podcasts, entertaining live streams and digestible articles, KEEZ provides content you’ll need to explore LUKSO.
Luksoverse
Luksoverse is a community-driven platform dedicated to aggregating information related to the LUKSO ecosystem. It serves as a central repository for news, events, technical guides, and community contributions, aiming to provide a comprehensive resource for both newcomers and established members of the LUKSO multiverse.
Refraction DAO
Refraction DAO will curate and manage a creative program featuring artists across the globe, from emerging to established, with a focus on art NFTs, design, fashion, and art objects — creating a multidimensional experience that blurs the lines between digital to physical art and experiences.
Speedrun LUKSO
SpeedrunLUKSO onboards developers by interactively teaching how to build on LUKSO. Builders can learn about LSPs and Universal Profiles.

As we launch Wave 1 of the LUKSO Grants Program, we’re inspired by the diversity and ambition of the projects across all categories. From foundational infrastructure and developer tools that will empower builders, to dApps that are pushing the boundaries of user experience in Web3, and community initiatives that foster growth and education, each of these grantees plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the LUKSO ecosystem.
