Similar to the wallet experience, buying ETH and other cryptocurrencies isn’t always as easy and straight forward as we would like it to be.
This tutorial will give you a few recommendations where and how to buy Ether to participate in the reversible ICO💰

We will outline 3 exchanges to buy Ethereum from that address different needs and jurisdictions.
Disclaimer: LUKSO is in no shape or form endorsing these products/companies, this is a list of exchanges that we personally find adequate to acquire small amounts of cryptocurrency.

IMPORTANT: Do not send ETH to the rICO contract from your Exchange wallet!

LiteBit — fast and easy

Litebit is a cryptocurrency exchange based in the Netherlands.
It offers popular European methods for payments such as iDeal, Bancontact, Sofort, Giropay, SEPA, and MyBank.

  • 350 Euro/Day limit with phone verification
  • Approx. 1.8% Credit card onboarding fee
  • 2% fees for Transactions
  • Wide range of supported countries

Litebit offers one of the fastest ways to get your hands on some ETH.
Your phone verification should take a couple of minutes to complete and after that, you can instantly buy ETH with a credit card.
We do not recommend making use of a credit card for larger transactions, as it will cost you a fee of 3.8%, but if you are looking for a fast and easy way to contribute small sums of money to the rICO we recommend LiteBit.
Besides credit card onboarding, LiteBit offers a wide range of payments with competitive fees

Coinbase — easy to use

Coinbase is one of the most established exchanges for onboarding into the crypto-world. In comparison to other exchanges, it shines with an easy user experience.

  • Coinbase fees range from 1.49% to 3.99%, depending on the payment method and location.
  • Paying via Bank transfer requires verification of your bank account, this can take a couple of days.
  • KYC is required for all sizes of transactions (Photo ID).

If you’re not in a hurry and value an easy, straight forward user experience you should consider Coinbase.

Binance Jersey — Cheap

Binance is the dominant Exchange in the crypto at the moment. It lists a wide range of cryptocurrencies and offers different investment products.
The Exchange is based in Malta and caters to experienced users. Binance Jersey is a subproduct of Binance and a separate exchange to the main Binance markets.

  • Fees of 0.1% and free deposits make it the cheapest exchange on this list!
  • Only a limited range of countries are supported, you can find the full list here
  • The KYC-process for Europeans is very extensive: Photo ID, photo of you holding up your ID, utility bills, etc.

If you are looking for the cheapest way possible to buy ETH, Binance Jersey seams like a reasonable choice.
