Chris Williams, Partner at Convex Legal, a boutique interdisciplinary law firm in Chicago, specializing in the law that surrounds entrepreneurs, traders and other financial professionals, along with artists, and entertainers, has teamed up with Jenny Balliet of Lula & CO., a consulting firm driven to engage through education via facilitating strategic relationships and communications by and between the world of Fintech and emerging technologies, announce a new podcast: As the Law Unfolds: Blockchain, which will further educate on these nascent technologies.
In April 2019, after a presentation at Athena.Trade Presents where Mr. Williams offered insight into the issues encompassing cryptocurrency & Blockchain regulations, including the importance of compliant fundraising using previous Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement actions: Athena Trade Presents Convex Legal: Mixed Bags in Digital Asset Regulation. The topic generated much discussion and illustrated the need to continually educate the larger ecosystem on the dynamic state of law and policy including the frequently overlooked elements of data privacy and cybersecurity.
Mr. Williams’ devotion to Blockchain adoption clearly noted,
“Blockchain is already impacting every industry in every corner of the world. Yet, how the regulations are structured today will determine whether the US can remain competitive or end up too far behind to recover.
I am excited to create this hybrid legal, business, and education podcast with Jenny.
