A foolproof way to ignore all technology
Have you ever just wanted to get away from it all? I’m sure all of us have wanted to unplug from technology at one point or another. Fortunately, there are others that share this feeling and have created new products and process to make it easier to unplug.
Using a special screen blocking film, Casper (originally developed by Steelcase), Ivan Cash has created IRL glasses to keep everything you see, real. Currently, they block most TV’s and some computers. IRL is still working to crack the code on the OLED technology of your phone screen.
Apple has also jumped on board and in iOS12 introduced screen time limits on all apps and a feature called downtime that lets you set a reoccurring time when all notifications are blocked and apps can’t be accessed. Not only great for families, but adults who need better screen boundaries!
