Lumeos Promises Monetizing Your Data. Here Are Your Payout Options!
It has been proven so far that pay-for-play (or promising an income for providing data) is a great customer acquisition strategy! With minimal marketing spend and no ads so far, we were able to organically grow to thousands of Lumeos users while collecting a huge amount of data. We have been rewarding our users in points that they can accumulate in the app for answering polls or giving out their personal information. But now is the time to reward our early adopters and allow everyone to redeem those points into real money.
So far we have sold the results of over 20 polls and have continuously been rewarding the participating users!
We will first allow redeeming the points accumulated in the app towards our LUME token (which will be live on EOS in 2 weeks). As long as you provide a valid EOS account in the app under your profile, you will have the ability to change the in-app points 1:1 to LUME token with one click! In addition, in the future you’ll be able to get paid in EOS token if you choose to, when answering special sponsored polls (as long as you hold the token in your account).
But why stop here! We have been expanding our payment rewards to other cryptocurrencies including TRON, Ethereum and Bitcoin. You will be able to select an option to get paid in those currencies for answering special polls that will pop up in your feed.
Hashgraph and Carbon Are Coming
Our most exciting payment options that we are going to launch this Q2 are Hashgraph’s HBar and Carbon USD stable coin. We are currently working closely with Hashgraph as part of the Helix Accelerator to be one of the first products that pays its users via HBar micropayments. As part of Helix Accelerator we were able to make some big new connections in Hong Kong and Asia including advisors, mentors, investors, new users, and new clients. In fact we already collected our first HBar from Otrafy, a startup also building on Hedera Hashgraph to bring transparency into organic food supply chain.
Our last exciting payment method is Carbon USD stable coin. We are working on integrating with Carbon Fiber API as a method of payment inside the app, as well as provide quick feedback to the Carbon team. Being paid in a stable coin is ideal to many users since you know exactly how much you’re making at any point for your data, and will allow for easier revenue sharing for the users in the future.
Finally we understand that some countries like India do not allow payments in cyrpto to be made but we still get you covered. We are going to allow gift card redeeming for users in those countries.
In summary we are excited to finally be allowing users to be paid for their data that they share! In less than 2 weeks, we are supporting payouts in LUME, and later in April expect EOS, TRX, ETH, BTC, HBar and Carbon USD.
