Last Month at Lumerin: Akash Integration, New Staking, and Morpheus v4.2.0 Launch

April brought another wave of momentum for the Lumerin ecosystem, including a major milestone toward a fully decentralized AI stack, a brand-new staking pool, and big updates from Morpheus.

Morpheus v4.2.0: Docker Support Now Live

We continue to work on the development of the Morpheus Network, and have launched v4.2.0, introducing Docker container support.

This a huge milestone for the Agent Builder Network and the broader community, but also for Lumerin as well.

Morpheus uses the Lumerin Protocol as their decentralized routing layer for AI compute power. In other words, these improvements don’t just help Morpheus: they strengthen the entire Lumerin ecosystem by proving our protocol’s value beyond mining and expanding its role in decentralized compute.

Here’s what’s new in v4.2.0:

1. Run Morpheus in Docker containers on Linux, macOS, or Windows
2. Bug fixes for model conversion and reset settings
3. Swagger dictionary cleanup for better developer documentation

With this release, deploying and scaling Morpheus agents across environments just got easier.

Lumerin + Morpheus + Akash: A Full-Stack Decentralized AI Infrastructure Has Arrived

We’re proud to announce a groundbreaking integration: the Morpheus-Lumerin Node is now live on the Akash Network! This marks a major step toward building a fully decentralized, end-to-end AI infrastructure.

Here’s what it means:

1. Deploy the Morpheus proxy-router directly on Akash
2. Route data through Lumerin’s smart contract-powered network
3. Access decentralized compute, storage, and AI inference tools, all without big cloud providers

This integration combines Lumerin’s secure data streams, Morpheus’ AI compute, and Akash’s decentralized cloud to allow developers to train, run, and route AI models in a completely permissionless, censorship-resistant environment.

This release also includes a deployment template to help you get started.

Looking ahead, we’re planning new features like orchestrator tools and pipeline integrations to take decentralized AI even further.
