Your Candys are now available for your team in Slack

Bumped into an exciting thought, fact or paragraph in connection with your research that you would like to share with your team in one click?

The Candy app is designed to enable all creatives, journalist, bloggers, and all kinds of researchers to work with the data they collect in the most simple and efficient way. Organize the pieces of information you are inspired by via “Storylines”, a simple visual interface, share them in social media, or embed them in your blogposts and articles.

We are proud to announce today that the Candy app has now integrated messaging app Slack and so became the only existing bookmark with this feature. From now on, all your saved contents in Candy will perfectly fit in your general workflow. Save in Candy any content you don`t want your team to miss, it will become automatically accessible in your Slack channels.

How it works

With Candy you can organize all your pieces of information, ideas and data in a topic via Storylines. From now on you will be able to match all your Storylines with your Slack channels where all your saved contents will automatically appear.

Whenever you come across an interesting statement, paragraph or entire article, simply save it in a Candy Storyline: mark the text you would like to save, click on “Save quote to Candy”, add the new Candy to the appropriate Storyline, and everyone in your team will be able to see the information and source you thought worth highlighted, no matter whether it is a specific fact, thought or paragrapgh beginning. No more copying separate links or entire articles to Slack no one will ever go through. We make your information sharing more productive.

In this way you can save all related information in one folder and share it in Slack in one single click. As projects and topics go on, it will be all easily searchable and everyone in your team will be able to access all saved content on all devices, including mobile and tablet.

Important note: edit your Candys in Trello or Slack, it won’t affect your Candys or Storylines in the Candy app.
