[DEV NOTE] LumiWave Monthly Development Update: June
Hello, Surfies!
We’ve been buzzing with activity this month, much like busy bees. In our development note, you’ll see that we’re focusing on making our INNO platform more user-friendly by implementing zkLogin.
Here’s why zkLogin is great for you:
- Easy Onboarding: Use your usual OAuth login to start, without managing cryptographic keys or remembering mnemonics.
- High Security: Uses two-factor authentication, needing both OAuth login and a separate salt. Even if your OAuth is hacked, transactions can’t happen without the salt.
- Privacy: Zero-knowledge proofs keep your Sui address and OAuth login unlinked, protecting your identity.
OAuth: (Open Authorization) A widely adopted authorization framework that allows you to consent to an application interacting with another on your behalf without having to reveal your password.
Salt: A piece of random data added to a password before it is hashed and stored.
We believe this will be incredibly helpful for our INNO platform users, especially beginners in the Web3 space, by lowering the barriers to entry.
Additionally, we’ve had numerous discussions about exciting new projects, including a Web3 Casual Game and a Web3 MultiChain Game.
We ended the month on a high note with fantastic news: our project received great feedback and invited us to speak at a prestigious NFT/Blockchain Game conference in Korea.
