At an event in China next week, Huawei is set to announce its third foldable smartphone. For its upcoming Mate X2 folding phone on Weibo, Huawei has posted another teaser, giving the strongest hint yet that it will move away from the style of the original Mate X. It has been reported that on February 22, Huawei will launch its new flagship foldable smartphone.

Huawei Mate X2, as it will be called, is the foldable phone of the third generation of the company, which would be much different in its design language than any of the previous two models if the teaser image is anything to go by. And the Mate X2 is likely to be a direct successor to the first foldable of the Chinese phone maker, the Mate X, considering the name. While Huawei Mate Xs was introduced between the two, it is similar to the Mate X based on the name.
