Xiaomi Mi Band 6 features leak Amazon Alexa, SpO2 and built-in GPS

One of the most popular fitness trackers in the entry-level segment is the Xiaomi Mi Band. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 may come with an inbuilt GPS, SpO2 or blood oxygen level sensor, plus support for Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, according to a new report. Well-known Xiaomi device leaker Magical Unicorn has shared code for the Zepp app, as reported by XDA, suggesting potentially enormous upgrades for the Mi Band 6.
If you’re wondering why the code was in a completely different company’s app, it’s because Zepp is actually the new name of the Huami-owned wearable brand Amazfit and is itself a sub-brand of Xiaomi. So, there are still Xiaomi wearables technically put out by either of those companies.
