At Lumos Labs, we’re passionate about building a collaborative tech community in India where startups in the emerging tech space can grow, learn and scale. The Century Program is a testament to this passion. It is an enterprise Blockchain Startup Program to evangelise, curate and unearth 100 best enterprise-ready Blockchain solutions for industry-specific use cases.

According to the Nasscom Avasant India Blockchain Report 2019, the emergence of Blockchain 3.0 with its increased security, interoperability and scalability is set to accelerate enterprise adoption. However, there is a need for Indian service providers to expand their capabilities by implementing a diverse set of blockchain use cases across all major sectors. Century Program aims to address this need by defining the problem statements in each sector, identifying enterprises exploring solutions for these problem statements and connecting them to relevant start-ups with an enterprise ready use case solution.

So, How is The Century Program Supposed to Help the Average Indian Entrepreneur?

The Century Program is a Corporate- SME bridge program, which will help unearth blockchain solutions for industry-specific use cases. These use cases will be built out into enterprise-grade PoCs (evaluated independently), which will be taken to market by each sponsor. Each industry track under the Century program will go through a journey of 4 months. The aim of the program is to bring out 100 solutions for all the 7 tracks over the course of 18 months starting July 2020.

The Tracks include:

  • Media and Entertainment
  • Oil & Natural Gas
  • Discrete Manufacturing
  • Trade Finance
  • Health Care
  • Telecom
  • Public Sector

Here’s how startups stand to benefit from the Programme
